A sampling of things I did for the first time in Europe this year:
1. See a hedgehog in the wild.
2. Go to Germany.
3. Take a shower in the dining room.
4. Ride on a subway train without a driver (at least, the driver was not on the train).
5. Consider coming back in 2009. And maybe for a while.

I think you need to explain how exactly you took a shower in the dining room. It is my understanding that dining rooms are generally not equipped with plumbing to make showers possible.
Maybe it was a special European dining room that was also outfitted with the double-opening windows?
